Hi, my name is Emily.

I am a mum of two boys and Born To Be Me was inspired by my eldest son Freddie.

Freddie is autistic, and like many parents navigating the world of additional needs, I found myself searching for clothing and products that felt positive, empowering and genuinely representative of our community. Everything seemed to focus on what children couldn't do, rather than celebrating exactly who they are. 

As a family, our journey has been filled with challenges, learning, heartbreak , pride and moments of pure joy. Freddie sees the world differently, and through him I've learned that different isn't something to fix. It is something to celebrate. 

Born To Be Me was created to help spread that message.

Every design is inspired by acceptance, inclusion and the belief that every child deserves to be loved, valued and celebrated for exactly who they are. Whether your child is autistic, has additional needs or simply walks their own path, this brand is for families who embrace individuality and wear it with pride.

What started as a small idea inspired by one little boy has grown into a mission to create a community where differences are celebrated, conversations are encouraged, and every child knows they were born to be exactly who they are.
